Hello, welcome to Losing Weight With Pat. This is where you learn of the 5 drinks to help you lose weight.

Today, we will talk about the drinks that help you lose weight, my 5 favorites. That’s right, 5.  There are plenty more drinks to help, but I’ll go over 5 of them and tell you how they can help you lose those pounds that you so dearly want to lose. The 5 drinks I’ll be going over are:

  1. Ice Cold Water
  2. Fat-free Milk
  3. Green Tea
  4. Tomato Juice
  5. Cranberry Juice

These 5 drinks can do wonders. I know what you are saying, water again. Yes, I will discuss water again. I will talk about water more often than not. Water is great. Everybody should be drinking water. Not just to lose weight but because water is so darn good for you.

Now let’s get into these 5 wonderful drinks. I want to tell you how you can lose weight and if there are other benefits, I think it’s fit to mention them.

Ice Cold Water

By drinking Ice Cold Water daily, you can burn 100 calories a day. That’s a lot of just drinking water. It takes the burning of calories to heat up the cold water back into your body temperature.

Water can make you full and you will eat less. Which is a good thing because you don’t need to pig out all the time anyways. Spread your meals out through the day. Might help you from getting a belly ache because you ate too much.

So make sure you drink water throughout the day. Me, when I go to work I bring a jug of water with me. On most days, I drink just about all of it.

Also, before every meal drink a glass of water like I said above, you won’t eat as much. Even try drinking water during some of your meals. Don’t have to be every meal, but just some of them.

Here is a fact you probably didn’t know. I didn’t know either until I did some research on the matter. Water helps your liver burn fat. How cool is that?

If you can somehow cut back on the salt and drink water you can lose water weight.  That is the good thing about water, it always tastes great and it’s cheap. In most cases.

Now this might not sound like a lot, but you can lose 10 if not more pounds a year by drinking water. Not counting other ways you might be trying to lose weight.

Now remember you body needs water, without water you kidneys  won’t  function well. Your body should stay hydrated at all times, even during the winter you still should drink water. Have that sticking in your head, water, water, water, water.

Fat-Free Milk

To me, milk is milk. It doesn’t matter what kind of milk you drink. It all taste the same. Either whole milk, skim milk or 2% milk. So why not drink fat-free milk? Maybe I’m wrong, but to me, it all tastes the same.

Milk is high in calcium. That is the good thing about milk. Help you build strong bones. The 2 great things about calcium are it suppresses calcitriol. That is a hormone that makes you fatter. With Calcitriol out of the way, your body can break down fat much faster. Also, it suppresses your appetite. That prevents you from gaining weight. It allows you to lose more weight by eating less.

You should be drinking milk on a daily basis. If at all try drinking it in the morning. Now this is for the people that drink alcohol. I just wanted to throw this fact in here. Did you know that drinking milk will coat your stomach? That prevents you from getting sick if you drink too much and can help you not to have a hangover in the morning. Sorry just wanted to throw that in there for my readers that drink.

Green Tea

Green Tea is another drink that can help burn fat. By drinking 3 to 5 cups daily, you can burn up to 43% more fat. With the caffeine in Green Tea, that increases your fat burning metabolism. Green Tea is also a diuretic, which can help burn water weight.

The taste of tomatoes will satisfy your taste buds, therefore preventing you from eating when you are not hungry. That’s like me, I use to eat when I’m bored, even when I’m not hungry.

Now the last drink that I want to throw at you is Cranberry Juice. First off, try drinking a glass of Cranberry Juice before breakfast. Never skip breakfast because you will end up eating more calories throughout the day. But Cranberry Juice will help you to not eat as much as breakfast.

Also, drink a glass before Lunch. You will cut down on your calorie intake which in return can help you lose weight. After dinner drink a glass for dessert instead of ice cream, cake or whatever else you might want to indulge in. Make sure you drink Cranberry Juice that is not full of sugar.

Cranberry Juice can also prevent urinary tract infections. Also, it can lower incidence of bacteria that causes ulcers.

My Final Words

Now before I go, warning. Never skip a meal. These are just drinks that will help you. To lose weight you need to eat fewer calories than you usually eat. Also, you want to burn the calories off with some kind of relaxed exercise. It doesn’t have to be anything hard.
