Hello, welcome to Losing Weight With Pat. This is where you will learn how to lose 10 lbs.
So you might be asking yourself, is it possible to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks? The answer is yes you can. You just have to be determined and willing to do it. That means cutting back on what and how much you eat. Also, you are going to want to do a little bit of exercise instead of going up and down with the remote.
Now, remember a pound of fat equals 3,500 calories, so that means that if you want to lose 10 lbs, you have to lose 35,000 calories in that 2 weeks. You would pretty much need to cut back to about 2,500 calories a day. it’s possible, eat more veggies, fruits, and lean proteins. Well anyway, I’ll give you some good ways to lose those 10 lbs in 2 weeks. But it will take some effort on your part to rid those pounds.
If you think about it, there are only 2 aspects of losing weight quick that you need to think about.
- Eating right
Pay close attention to these, and if you see you are having success then continue the journey.
First, we will talk about exercise. Exercise is the key to start really losing weight. Depending on the kind of person you are, these exercises can be fun. Or if you are more like the guy or girl who likes to get it done and really work up a sweat, then there are plenty of those kinds of exercises. We will get into both. First, come up with a plan. Buy a journal, make notes and come up with a good exercise plan. Stick to it. Put the days down for the whole 2 weeks. An initial everyday day as completed. This will best likely keep you from falling off the bandwagon, so to speak.
For those of you that don’t want to do hard mean exercises, this is for you. Do something you enjoy. I wrote a post on easy exercises to lose weight. Check it out if you have time. In your journal write down the exercises you will do. Try doing them for about 45 minutes to 1 hour a day. With 24 hours in a day, you can find an hour to yourself to try and lose that belly fat. I’ll give you a list to start out with. Make sure you stretch first. You don’t want to pull any muscles.
- Jumping jacks
- Jump Rope(if you have one)
Try these five first. Do a rep of each a few times. These are simple exercises you can do from the comfort of your home. Do these every day, don’t skips a day. Got to keep with it every day, you will see the difference it makes.
Now for those you don’t have a real problem with hardcore exercises. I did a post on High-Intensity Interval training(HIIT). Check it out. I can guarantee this will work for you to lose weight fast. Tiring but you will get over that. Once you get used to doing this, you will be amazed how good you really do feel every day. If you still like working out but not that hard, go to a gym such as the YMCA. They have great equipment and a personal trainer if needed. You can work out at your own pace and a great place for the family.
Briefly, I just wanted to touch upon the best part of life. Eating, I love to eat. Eating right though can be hard. It can be done, You just have to discipline your body. After a good workout, though, it can really make you want to eat better. After that, you will feel in time, that you are feeling better. Also in 2 weeks, you can start seeing a difference in your body. When you start to finally lose the belly fat, you will be happy. So first things first. Healthy eating.
Cut down on all the junk foods you consume. Rid all of it. When you go shopping, look at the calories and other nutritional facts before buying. At first, It might take a little longer to shop, but eventually, you will already know what the foods have in it, just becomes a habit. The Fruits that will do you some good are these.
- Grape Fruit
All these fruits are great for you and taste great. As far as snacks go, these are great substitutes for whatever you eat now. Going to Veggies. There are great veggies out there for the main dish or just to snack on during the day. The Veggies that will do you some good are these.
- Leafy Greens
- RedBell Peppers
Most if not all these can be used in the meals you fix for dinner. Some of these, you can eat as snacks. All these can help you not take in as many calories and they are great for you. Now for dinner try some Lean Proteins. Some of the great proteins you can eat are these
- Dry beans or Peas
- Nuts and Seeds
All of these are part of the protein food group. You can find all of these in the Paleo Diet. So make sure you go back and read what I wrote on the Paleo Diet.
My Final Words
This is just an example of the series I’m starting. These all will be covered in my next few posts. My next post will be on how to lose with working out in two weeks. Next will be the kind of fruits you need to eat. Following that will be the kind of veggies to eat. After that will be on lean protein to help with weight loss in 2 weeks. Next, I’ll see what I can do to write a meal plan for you.
